Upon being elected to office, Mayor Garcetti committed to spending a day in the district with each of the 15 Councilmembers to learn about their priorities and projects. Recently, Mayor Garcetti spent time in CD3 with Councilmember Bob Blumenfield focusing on the district’s thriving business-development climate. Today, Thursday May 29, is CD4’s turn.

The three sights include: Metro Purple Line Excavation Shaft, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Urban Light, and the Pan Pacific Park Senior Center. Last week, Mayor Garcetti traveled to Washington, D.C. to announce that L.A. had secured $1.25 billion in federal funding for the Metro Purple Line Extension.
