Parking Lot Number 694, located at 209 North Larchmont Boulevard will be closed for 3 days next week for improvements. The project will take place between 6:00 a.m., Monday June 3, 2013 to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday June 5, 2013.
Repairs will include cleaning up some of the remnants from the days when individual parking meters were in place, repaving and re-striping. Plus, there are some problematic curbs at the back of the Lot – the curbing isn’t really tall enough to stop some cars. Many cars end up getting stuck on top of the curb and unable to move without being lifted/towed off (see the gouges on the curb below).
In addition to being a resource for parking on the Boulevard, this Lot is the site of the Larchmont Farmers Market every Sunday.
Alternative parking is available in the Larchmont Village Plaza across the street, adjacent to Rite Aid.
