Miracle Mile Toys and Gifts Now Open on Wilshire Blvd.

Last month, we wrote about the temporary closing of the former Miracle Mile Toy Hall, due to a change in ownership.  This week, new owner Christina Mullin (a longtime employee of both the Toy Hall and its previous iteration, Miracle Mile Toys and Games), has re-opened the store as Miracle Mile Toys and Gifts in the same space at 5464 Wilshire Blvd…minus the event hall, but with the addition of some new products and brands.

In a letter to the community, Mullin announced that her new hours will be Tuesday-Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed on Mondays), and new products include “Magna-Tiles, Wee Gallery, a big selection of classic games, lots of new puzzles, Mrs. Grossman’s Stickers, a new clothing brand called Aimama, and a lot more! ”

Masks will be required for shoppers, along with 6-foot distancing.  But online (including Facetime) shopping and curbside pickup are also available.  The new website – http://www.miraclemiletoysandgifts – currently contains a link to Mullin’s start-up fundraising campaign, but she says it will also soon be populated with even more shopping and shipping options.

In her letter, Mullin hailed the support she’s received from the local community during the store’s transition. “I appreciate all of the amazing love and support and encouragement so many of you have bestowed upon me,” she wrote. “Thank you so much. I really am beside myself with gratitude.”

Finally, to show customers what has and hasn’t changed at the store, Mullin also posted a short video tour of her new offerings on YouTube:
