
Sea Fever Seafood – a regular and popular vendor at the Sunday Hollywood Farmers Market – is in rough waters. According to both KCET.org and the LA Times, the proprietor was arrested Sunday a week ago by game wardens from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife in Santa Barbara Harbor following a two-month-long investigation. The charges: conspiracy and grand theft.
The opportunity to get freshly caught, local seafood was a big motivator for many people to visit the Hollywood Farmers Market and made for long lines at Sea Fever Seafood. According to the LA Times, the Hollywood Farmers Market has dismissed Sea Fever as a vendor for the foreseeable future.
