Roji Bakery Open on La Brea

Friendly staff at Roji Bakery at 807 Sout La Brea Avenue serve French pastries with a Japanese flair.

There’s a wonderful new bakery in the neighborhood, Roji Bakery at 807 South La Brea Avenue located right next door to Sake House Miro, Japanese Restaurant. The bakery offers Japanese inspired French pastries. You will find the classics like chocolate croissants, baguettes, elegant fruit flavored danishes as well as edamame cheese bread and black sesame rolls.

It’s no coincidence that Roji (which means street in Japanese) Bakery is located right next door to Sake House. The two eateries share the same owners. It seems the owners had been looking for a location to open a bakery and jumped when the space next door became available.  They have partnered with a Japanese Bakery that originated in Kumamoto, Japan in 2006. Together they created new recipes for their LA customers that meld the best of both cuisines.

Roji also offers all kinds of coffee drinks and their white, bright interior is a cheerful place to eat.
