Take a New Survey on the City’s Neighborhood Council System

The Los Angeles Department of Neighborhood Empowerment – the group that runs the city’s 99 Neighborhood Councils, including our own Greater Wilshire and Mid City West Neighborhood Councils – would like to hear from you via a new survey measuring community awareness of the NC system and the opportunities it provides for participation in the city’s decision-making process.

To request a copy of the survey, just fill out the form at http://tiny.cc/AwarenessSurveyRequest

According to DONE, the questionnaire will take about five minutes to complete, and it will help both DONE and the City figure out how to better allocate resources for future community engagement.

In other words, as DONE representative Thomas Soong wrote to the Buzz, “This survey is another way for stakeholders to engage and for them to provide feedback on their neighborhood council experience.”

If you would like further information, or have any questions regarding the survey, you can also call (213) 978-1551 or e-mail DONE at [email protected].
