Nestled in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles, Artlounge Collective’s La Brea/Beverly location provides a picturesque backdrop that beautifully complements the spirit of artistic expression that permeates our collective.
“As one of the fastest growing artist-operated spaces in Los Angeles,” says gallery owner K Ryan Henisey, “we take immense pride in our central location, positioned to confidently serve the La Brea, Hancock Park, Larchmont, Beverly, Hollywood, West Hollywood, and Miracle Mile neighborhoods. Our diverse set of artists offer a wide variety of contemporary art forms, from abstract expressionism to formalist figures and nature studies.”
Among the many highlights of the Holiday Art Bazaar is a Cocktail Reception, Friday, December 1, 7-10pm, hosted by the creators of Once Upon a Cocktail—a captivating new book that pays tribute to the venues and recipes of West Hollywood’s most talented mixologists. A cocktail class with mixologist Sarah L M Mengoni takes place Friday evening, 6-7pm. This $40 course teaches the art of crafting both classic and one-of-a-kind beverages alongside an expert in the field. Purchase class tickets. Both Mengoni and author/illustrator Katie Brightside will appear for a book signing during the events.
Artlounge Collective hosts live poetry throughout the weekend with typewriter creations from Pride Poets and former WestHollywood Poet Laureate, Brian Sonia Wallace. The poets, popping-up through the weekend, provide live, one-of-a-kind poems written on typewriters, making excellent gifts for the loved-ones who have everything.
A free and interactive, Watercolor Demonstration, takes place from 3-5pm on Saturday, December 2. Led by the talented and award-winning artist and gallery owner, this demonstration promises to be an enriching experience for both beginners and experienced artists alike. All participants will take away techniques as they paint alongside the artist. This immersive session offers a unique opportunity to witness a master at work and gain invaluable insights into the art of watercolor painting.
The Holiday Art Bazaar will feature a variety of pop-up artist vendors with gift offerings perfect for the holiday season. Purchasers will also enjoy 20% off all in-store purchases on fine art and gifts through Artlounge Collective (excluding vendor art).
Artlounge Collective is the winner of the 2023 John Chase Art & Design award and showcases artists in their Los Angeles gallery, at Mondrian Los Angeles’ Magic Box Exhibits, and at all The Artist Tree locations in California. The neighborhood art staple is home to more than 100 artists, most local to Southern California. Artlounge Collective provides rotating displays of artwork, fine art classes, and monthly receptions open to the public. The gallery is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 10am to 6:45pm and is located at 145 N La Brea Ave, Suite F.
