The Los Angeles Garden Tour and Party, sponsored by the Windsor Square-Hancock Park Historical Society, is on for this Sunday. The current forecast is for a sunny 71 degrees, the gardens are in full bloom and the neighborhood is ready to play host to the annual party that officially welcomes Spring to our City.

Over the years, this event has played a key role in raising funds for area “green” projects. This year’s tour will fund a landscaping project at Los Angeles High School. Previous tours have helped transform other local schools, including John Burroughs, Third Street and Frances Blend; as well as neighborhood medians on Larchmont Boulevard and Wilton Place.

The day’s schedule includes the following line-up:

11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Gardens on tour

11:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Boutique and Silent Auction

1:00 & 2:30 p.m. Program presented by The Daughters of The American Revolution

1:40 p.m. Speaker: Doug Fieri, Board Member of the Southern California Beekeepers Association
