The District La Brea Summer Garage Jam will take place on the rooftop of the Shepard-Fairey-mural-clad parking garage at District La Breat this Sunday, September 15th, 2013 from 1pm-6pm. Featuring five local bands performing on the upper deck of the  parking garage, the event is expected to draw crowd of music, fashion and design lovers.
The music stage will showcase local acts such as Freedom Fry, Warships, Oona, GUIDES, The Low and a DJ set by Kelly Cole. Admission to the event is free, but registration required via EventBrite. VIP tickets are also available for $15 and will include access to reserved seating, drink tickets, bar and a VIPA Discount Card for retailers and restaurants in District La Brea.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Off The Wall Graffiti, a non-profit, community event, mentoring and scholarship foundation designed for students who show a talent in graffiti and a willingness to learn about art. Off The Wall Graffiti will also curate an interactive live art exhibit during the event.
