House Fire in Larchmont Village

Local LAFD units from Fire Stations #29 and #52 showed up in force late Wednesday afternoon to quickly put out a house fire on the 300 block of North Windsor Boulevard in Larchmont Village. The house was being painted at the time and the homeowners were out for a walk. Witnesses report that neighbors saw smoke and dialed 911.  Initial findings indicate that the fire started from a spark generated when the painters hit a nail while sanding.

We are reaching out to see if there is something we as neighbors can do to help the family out in this time of need. Stay tuned…
