Kentucky Derby Day Brings List of Picks from Local Jack Mansour

Churchill Downs

Last year we posted a story that gave neighborhood horse racing fans an insider’s view of the Kentucky Derby picks, courtesy of Hancock Park’s Jack Mansour. His deep knowledge and analysis of the horse racing scene is eagerly anticipated by friends, family…and hopefully Larchmont Buzz readers! If you followed his advice in 2012 you will remember that he picked two of the three horses who finished in the money.

Mansour released his 2013 picks late Friday and has allowed us to share them again with our readers. Whether you gather to watch the Kentucky Derby at a Derby party, a local sports bar like Busby’s or in the comfort of your home – it’s fun to have some inside knowledge.  Feel free to  share with your friends!

Mary has lived in the Hancock Park area for over 20 years - including homes in Larchmont Village and Windsor Square. Mary has lived in some great places in her life - but none compare to the convenience and majesty of our neighborhood. For Mary, the neighborhood has been a wonderful home to her large, extended one time she had family members living on seven different Hancock Park area blocks! Larchmont Buzz is a labor of love - built to celebrate the neighborhood and to elevate the conversation in the area.
