Vaudeville in the Park May 4th for Independent Shakespeare

Vaudeville in the Park

Every year the Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival continues to grow – in the 2013 season they reached 43,000 people with their free performances for Angelenos in the open air on stage at Griffith Park.  To keep the weekly shows going, the Independent Shakespeare Company (ISC) holds a benefit every spring to kick off the season and raise funds for the festival.

This year the ISC is planning an afternoon of vaudeville entertainment including music, Shakespearean scenes, featuring Dr Pinch and the Pinchtones, and other variety acts  This mini festival includes an on-site concession stand and a raffle and is always a great event for families. Tickets are $35/single, $70/family and up to $400/VIP-Family.

A great way to kick off the spring season – on a blanket on the grass, with some engaging entertainment.
