Longtime Hancock Park resident and sitcom producer Marta Kaufman has sold her Hancock Park home for close to $8 million dollars according to Variety’s sassy real estate reporter Mark David (@YourMamatweets).
According to David’s exclusive real estate source “yenta Yolanda Yakketyyak [who] swears on her beloved alligator-skin Birkin bag that the buyers are decorator/designer/TV personality Nate Berkus and his interior decorator husband, Jeremiah Brent, who will (Yolanda tattled) close the deal at around $8 million.”
Kaufman and composer/musician husband Micheal Skloff ended their 30-plus year marriage awhile back and put their Rimpau home on the market. Kafuman and Skloff hosted many friend and fundraising events for a variety of causes in the community at their 1920s Spanish style home.
Kauffman co-created the incredibly enduring “Friends” sitcom and recently the Netflix series “Grace and Frankie.” Skloff wrote the theme songs for both shows.
