Hollywood Celebs Open Jane Club

The Jane Club officially opened with a star-studded event, according to The Hollywood Reporter this week.

“The Jane Club co-founders (Grace and Frankie actress June Diane Raphael and producer Jess Zaino) officially opened the doors to their new Larchmont flagship Thursday with a fete that drew some Hollywood’s heavyweights, including New Girl writer J.J. Philbin, Fox’s executive vp casting Tess Sanchez, actors Chris O’Dowd, Retta, Paul Scheer and Adam Scott,” reported the HR.

The party was also reported in the Daily Mail, with a focus on Chris O’Down and Dawn O’Porter. This was the second Daily Mail feature on celebrities on Larchmont Blvd in a week. (The publication had also grabbed photos of James Van Der Beek shopping with his son Josh and getting a parking ticket — just like the rest of us!)

Last month, we reported that the club’s founders told the Larchmont Village Neighborhood Association they were relocating from the residential part of Larchmont Village south of First Street to the commercial part of the street, in order to comply with the local zoning. The club’s “soft opening” at the new location, a few weeks ago, featured an event with presidential hopeful Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, and an Oscar watch party for the National Alliance of Domestic Workers, according to KCBS local news.
